Nose
An initial burst of malt, oranges, and lighter flowery flavours, with toffee apples, vanilla, cocoa bean, dry sherry, and a touch of spice. Sweet fruits with a hint of clove, biscuity grain notes, barley sugar sweetness, and butter toffee.
Palate
Rich and full-bodied with sweet sherry notes, dark chocolate, espresso, juicy sultanas, white grape, crisp green apples, poached pears, heather honey, golden syrup, crumbly brown sugar, vanilla pod, milk chocolate, creamy malt, walnuts, and forest fruits.
Finish
Long and lingering with dried fruit and subtle spice. Drying, nutty, woody, spicy, and slightly bitter, with a late hot warmth of white pepper, cinnamon, and clove.
