Aberlour 10 Year Old is a classic Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, matured for at least a decade in a combination of expertly selected ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. This expression is known for its rich, fruity flavor profile and a smooth, mellow finish, making it a popular and approachable dram. It was a core range offering from the Aberlour distillery, which was founded in 1879 by James Fleming, and was discontinued around 2021.

Nose
The dry, fresh, fruity aromas of early autumn apples and pears are subtly enhanced with sweet notes of vanilla and mint toffee. Sherried raisins, hints of toffee and a pleasant nuttiness.
Palate
Exceptionally smooth and creamy, with spicy-sweet nutmeg and honey combining with the freshness of autumn fruits. Quite full-bodied, spicy rich fruitcake, toffee notes and a creamy malty-feel.
Finish
Long, soft and warming. Caramel and honey, the malt still evident and the sweet spices still linger. Dry and oaky with malt and spices.
