Description
Aberlour whisky was born in the Speyside village of Aberlour, where James Fleming established the distillery in 1879. The distillery sources its barley locally and uses water from the fields near the distillery. This single malt is matured in two different casks: American Oak and Spanish Sherry, which impart rich flavors over time. After fourteen years, the spirits from both casks are married to achieve a balance of depth and flavor. [2, 5]
