Description

A bottle of Aberlour A'bunadh Batch 12, bottled at 60% ABV. A'bunadh is Gaelic for 'the origin', and was first produced in 1997. Each annual release is drawn from oloroso sherry butts with ages ranging from five to 25 years. The whisky is not chill-filtered, and is bottled at natural cask strength. It is matured exclusively in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks.

Long and balanced with a touch of oak, robust and intense with bitter-sweet notes of exotic spices, dark chocolate, and oak, lingering sherry sweetness, long dry and spicy, slightly oaky with red berries, nutty note.
