Soft fruit followed by richer sherry, chocolate and spice gives this a straightforward progression. The sweet, warming finish seems appealing, with the notes keeping the character rounded rather than sharply defined.
The red apple and orchard-fruit nose gives this a clear, fruit-led opening, but the palate turns toward richer sherry character: chocolate and toffee with cinnamon and ginger spice. That shift is appealingly defined, though it sounds more warming and sweet than especially fresh or brisk, so it sits a little outside my brightest-style preference. The lingering, slightly spicy finish keeps the sweetness from being the only impression. A solid, coherent profile.
