Description

One of many Speyside distilleries in the Pernod Ricard portfolio and up until 2018 was part of just a select group of three from which they marketed single malts, alongside Glenlivet and Strathisla. The French multinational operate it through their Chivas Brothers Scotch whisky division. This Aberlour 19 Year Old First Fill Sherry Cask is a single cask offering matured for 19 years in a first fill sherry hogshead, bottled at cask strength and non-chill filtered. It is a rich and complex expression of Speyside craftsmanship, absorbing the full depth and character of the sherry wood, resulting in a smooth, well-rounded profile with layers of dark fruit, spice, and rich oak.
