Description

A quirky wooden presentation set from Aberlour, named Kenny's Writing Desk, shaped like three heavy leather-bound books. It opens up to reveal a bottle of Aberlour 10 Year Old, 4 x Aberlour branded tasting glasses, envelopes, writing paper, and a letter from the Distillery Manager. This particular bottle is an export version of the Aberlour 10 year old. The writing desk is a replica of Kenny Fraser's writing desk, who was master brewer and distiller at the time of its release.

Nose
Dry, fresh, fruity aromas of early autumn apples and pears, subtly enhanced with sweet notes of vanilla, mint toffee, cherry nougat, and dried fruits.
Palate
Exceptionally smooth and creamy, with spicy-sweet nutmeg, honey, apple, vanilla, and darker sherry notes of raisin, dark chocolate, cinnamon, and a slight pepper heat. It is full-bodied with rich fruitcake and toffee notes.
Finish
Long, soft, and warming, with notes of caramel, honey, malt, and lingering sweet spices.
