Description

Ailsa Bay Sweet Smoke Release 1.2 is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled at 022 parts peat and 019 parts sweet. It undergoes a unique 'micro-maturation' process, initially aged in small ex-bourbon casks for 6-9 months, then transferred to virgin, first-fill, and refill American oak casks for several years. This second iteration is both peatier and sweeter than its predecessor, offering a balanced and intriguing expression from the Lowlands.
