Description

The Akkeshi 'Shosho' Single Malt Japanese Whisky 2024 is a limited-edition release inspired by the 'Twenty-Four Solar Terms' of the ancient Asian calendar, with 'Shosho' signifying the height of summer. Crafted at the renowned Akkeshi Distillery on the northern island of Hokkaido, Japan, this single malt is meticulously distilled from malted barley and matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, in addition to Hokkaido Mizunara oak casks. This maturation process draws out the distinctive character and depth of Akkeshi Whisky, showcasing a complex and harmonious spirit.
