Alberta Premium Cask Strength Canadian Rye is produced by Alberta Distillers Limited, the largest rye whisky-producing distillery in North America and part of the Canadian holdings of Beam Suntory. It is primarily a contract-distilling operation, however has achieved its own acclaim through brands such as Alberta Premium. This is a Distillery Bottling, meaning it is bottled by the company that produced it, using the official branding of the distillery itself. This special release uses only the finest locally grown rye grains from Canada's heartland and glacier-born water from the Rocky Mountains. The whisky is aged in charred oak casks to mellow and deliver a result that is truly unique and full of character.
