Nose
A slightly musty start, like worn leather and old casks in a cellar, with charcoal and barbecue ashes. Meaty notes of smoked ham or simmering beef stew, dried mushrooms, nuts, cinnamon, and dark chocolate.
Palate
Punchy, with a lot of peat smoke, medicinal notes, dried herbs, and tobacco. Increasingly hot with black peppercorns, chili, and curry spices, and hints of burnt rubber. Also, a delightful blend of fresh and dried fruit, citrus, tropical fruit, vanilla, caramel, subtle smokiness, malty undertones, and oak.
Finish
A peppery finish with dried spices.
