Description

Angel's Envy Rye is a unique rye whiskey, sourced from MGP in Indiana, with a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. It is aged for 6-7 years in new American oak barrels before undergoing a secondary maturation for up to 18 months in Caribbean XO rum casks, which previously held Maison Ferrand Cognac. This finishing process imparts a complex flavor profile, balancing the spicy character of rye with sweet, tropical notes. The brand was founded by Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson, and the rye expression was released in 2013.
