Angel's Envy Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a unique bourbon that undergoes a secondary aging process in port wine barrels. It is typically aged for four to six years in new American white oak barrels, then finished for three to six months in ruby port wine casks imported from Portugal's Douro Valley. This double-aging process imparts distinct flavor nuances, enhancing the whiskey's depth and smoothness without overpowering its bourbon character. The brand was founded by Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson and his son Wes Henderson, pioneering the use of secondary finishing in bourbon.
