Description

Annandale 2015 Man O'Sword Cask #772 is a rare peated single cask whisky from the Lowland distillery Annandale. Annandale's smoulderingly smoky peated expression, Man O'Sword, is inspired by Robert the Bruce, King of Scotland and the Seventh Earl of Annandale. This 2015 vintage was matured in an authentic Oloroso sherry butt from Bodega José y Miguel Martín in Spain, and is bottled at a powerful 60.4%. The result is a delicious combination of peat and sherry, with rich fruit notes, gentle peat smoke, cherries, roasted nuts, vanilla cream and cacao powder.
