Strong notes of sherry, figs, dates, walnuts, dried fruits with sweet honey undertones, stewed apples and morello cherries.
Palate
Sweet, nutty, slightly spicy sherry notes, hint of sweet oak, rich and amazingly full-bodied, treacle tart, autumn spices, toasted hazelnuts and caramel, light dusting of cocoa powder.
Finish
Silky smooth and lengthy, sweet and fruity spice notes, heavily sherried iced Christmas cake, old oak wisdom.
