Description

Ardbeg Anamorphic is a limited and experimental Committee Release from 2023, crafted using a unique 'high mocha' cask treatment process. This involved removing the heads of ex-bourbon casks, deeply scoring them to expose more wood, and then intensely toasting and recharring them. This innovative approach aims to temper briny overtones, enhance chocolatey sweetness, and magnify mocha sensations, resulting in a multidimensional Islay single malt that morphs between sweet, smoky, herbal, and spicy elements. It is bottled non-chill filtered at 48.2% ABV.
