Description

A special ninth bottling from the Elements of Islay Range, the Ar9 was specially bottled for the Feis Ile 2017. It is a single first-fill Oloroso Sherry filled malt with rich heavy notes of dark chocolate and expresso while layers of dense smoke finishes off this intensely satisfying Ardbeg expression. It is an outstanding single malt from the renowned Ardbeg Distillery, bottled in 2017, boasting a stately age of 16 years, and unleashing flavours that reflect its rich, peaty heritage from the Isle of Islay.
