The Ardbeg Heavy Vapours Committee Release 2023 is a limited edition Islay single malt Scotch whisky, crafted as an experiment by Dr. Bill Lumsden. For the first time, the traditional purifier was removed from the still during distillation, allowing heavier, untamed vapors to rise, resulting in a bold and intensely peated profile. Matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled non-chill filtered at 50.2% ABV, this Committee Exclusive release showcases Ardbeg's darker, more robust flavors, with a dramatic and aromatic pungency.
