Nose
A mix of malt, cold wood smoke, and a hint of new make. Ashy and redolent of beachside bonfire, very juicy and sweet, fruit-rich. Smoke and black licorice, chocolate, charred scallops and seared meat. Briney and coastal with notes of smoked sardines and lemon. Balanced, striking sweetness.
Palate
Quite big with a peat tingle, a sea of spices, tangy starburst sweets, and oily smoke. Big tart, green notes, black licorice meets blackberry jam. Loads of syrupy dark fruits, lime zest, bittersweet chocolate, and a hint of coffee.
Finish
More coastal, sweetness, cool smoke, medium to short. Long on chili peppers and briney smoke. Slightly bitter cloves. Sweet pipe tobacco, monkey nut shells, red wine gums.
