Explosive peat smoke with notes of smoked sea salt, tarry rope, aniseed, medicinal bandages, iodine, and underlying sweet vanilla cream. Herbal and earthy notes, with a menthol freshness.
Palate
Massive wave of peppery peat, followed by smoked meats, charred oak, dark chocolate, espresso, licorice, with hints of tropical fruits and vanilla custard. Oily, rich, with sweet oak, smoke, cut grass, aniseed spice, and hints of cumin and cloves.
Finish
Extraordinarily long with lingering campfire smoke, sea spray, black pepper, menthol, and sweet spices. Strong and full of peat smoke, with a dry, sooty theme, and notes of roasted nuts and sweet tobacco.
