Description

A single cask single malt brand originally introduced by Douglas Laing & Co in 1998. It served the company until 2014 when it was one of the assets that were divided off into a new entity called Hunter Laing & Co. It remains its flagship independent bottling brand to this day. A distillery located on the south coast of the Isle of Islay. It is currently part of the Scotch whisky holdings of LVMH.

Vanilla, candied orange, ashy/tarry smoke, white pepper, seaweed, lemon, apples, roasted pork, honeydew, light oak, campfire peat, oak tannins, peppercorns, cumin, cayenne, melon, capers, olive brine, tar, and a salty, oily, and dry character.
Finish
Long with orange/vanilla sweetness, smoke, lemon, pepper, oceany notes, campfire smoke, pork, cayenne, spicy wood, seawater, limestone, and intense, sticky, oily peat.
