Description

Distilled at Ardmore on 8th June 2015, initially matured in a traditional hogshead before being re-racked on 30th September 2024 into a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry quarter cask for finishing. Bottled by Integrity Malts on 3rd July 2025 at cask strength (55.9% ABV) from cask no. 150000147, producing 157 bottles without chill filtration or added colour.

Burnt fruitcake, earthy peat smoke, cherry jam, shrivelled raisins, thick date sweetness, spiced pastry, Eccles cakes, brown sugar, cold cast-iron stoves, coal dust, cherry menthol, and a touch of briny sea breeze.
Palate
Mint and menthol leading into rich fruitcake, dark earthiness, medicinal smoke, smoked ham, woody bonfires, smouldering mintiness, mint choc chip, and sweet cherry bubblegum.
Finish
Mint fondant and cherry bubblegum fading slowly, joined by lingering wood smoke and dark liquorice.
