Nose
Heather smoke, beeswax, dried grass, honey and soft old dunnage earth. Very elegant, ethereal with delicate waxiness, tinned tropical fruits, and a light, milky porridge note. Fragrant, delicate peat smoke, bound up with dried out honeys, beeswax, soft coastal impressions and hints of Brora-like farmyard notes.
Palate
Elegant peat, waxy sweetness, warm honey, old oak and a hint of farmyard charm. Proper waxy texture, mouthcoating, with soft phenols and ripe, tropical fruits leading the way. Hints of lemons, papaya, orange peel, slightly honeyed, gentle earthiness, mint, and a pinch of white pepper. Beautifully waxy and mouth-coating, with heather honey, sweet ales, breads, olive oil and peppery warmth.
Finish
Long, gentle and softly smoky. Honey, wax and Highland herbs. Short to medium length, a tad dry, with gentle orchard fruits and pollen. Medium in length with beautiful variations on waxes, honeys, dried fruits and earthier, richer farmy tones.
