Description

Ardnahoe Distillery, located on Islay, was founded by Hunter Laing. This is a 6-year-old single malt, distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2025. It is a single cask release, Cask #65, matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel, and bottled at cask strength of 60.0% ABV. This particular expression was bottled exclusively for TCWA, with an outturn of 232 bottles.

Smoky and maritime with hints of spicy forest honey, fresh orange peel, barley, freshly cut grass, candied almonds, sea spray, bonfire smoke, and vanilla cream.
Palate
Powerful herbal notes of heather and peat, complemented by prunes, bright citrus fruits, charred caramel, dry oak, lemon, honeyed malt, and brine. Sweet, peaty & oily.
Finish
Clean, long-lasting with a smoky edge. Long and smooth with gentle, sweet smoke, and a satisfyingly warming trace of maritime sweetness.
