Orange peel, dark berries, and fine chimney smoke. Notes of grilled pineapples, creamy oats, lemon fondant, vanilla, sweet apple, tropical fruits, fresh mint, and camomile. Hints of sea spray, bonfire smoke, raisins, dark chocolate, and espresso.
Palate
Roasted pecans, sugar syrup, and warm clove spice, carried by the powerful cask strength. Intense sherry and peat smoke waves, peppered with gentle spice and a salty sea air. Layers of honeyed malt, charred oak, citrus, and brine. Peppery smoke, tropical fruits, sweet peat, birthday cake, and vanilla bean ice cream.
Finish
Long and full, combining a hint of saddle leather with a gentle, maritime peat smoke note typical of Islay. Lingering notes of peat smoke, salted liquorice, and sherried sweetness. Smoky and satisfyingly warming, with a trace of maritime sweetness. Creamy and sugary, with candied smokiness and light oakiness.
