This Ardnamurchan AD/03:16 For The AD/Venturers is an official distillery bottling of Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2024, this release was matured in unpeated Sauternes Barriques (casks 367 & 369) and was bottled exclusively for The AD/Venturers club. It is a limited release of 480 bottles, bottled at 55% ABV and is non-chill filtered.

Nose
An unpeated Ardnamurchan with prominent Sauternes barrique influence, leading to notes of waxed apples and pears, varnish, candy (foam bananas), more pear and pineapple drops, minerallic flint, chalk, dry earth, and a hint of dunnage turning jammy.
Palate
Rich and syrupy mouthfeel with a burst of tangerines, apricots, boiled sweeties, lemon pepper seasoning, caramel, toffee, chocolate, and brown sugar sweetness.
Finish
Fairly long, mostly showing jelly tots and a touch of wood spice, moving into bitter grapefruit, with hints of cornflakes, dark chocolate coated oat bites, warm fudge, candied ginger, varnished, dunnage-y mash, earthy fruitiness, honey biscuits, and vanilla.
