Description

The Armorik Yeun Elez 2016/2025 - 8 Year Old - Triple Cask Small Batch is an outstanding peated French single malt whisky produced by the Warenghem distillery in Brittany. This limited small batch bottling of 1,150 bottles was distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2025 at 57.8% ABV. It undergoes a unique triple cask maturation in Bourbon, Sauternes, and STR (Shaved, Toasted and Recharred) casks, which were all filled in October 2016. The whisky is non-chill filtered and has a peat smoke content of 50 ppm, derived from Scottish peated malted barley. The Yeun Elez series is named after a mystical moorland in Brittany, reflecting the rugged, legendary landscapes where peat is traditionally cut.
