Description

This 23-year-old single malt from the Arran Distillery is the fourth and final release in its Explorers Series, named after Drumadoon Point on the Isle of Arran. It has been matured for 23 years in ex-sherry puncheons sourced directly from Jerez, Spain, and bottled at 49.5% ABV. This limited edition release consists of 9,000 bottles and comes in a metal box.

Apple strudel with rich nutty overtones, followed by spice, cocoa powder, star anise, dark chocolate, sherry-coated raisins, cinnamon baked apples, and dried fruit.
Finish
Dark chocolate and sherry coated raisins, medium to long, with honey, hints of green herbs, dry, a little oaky and peppery, drying cocoa and cinnamon.
