The Arran Single Malt Quarter Cask, also known as 'The Bothy', is initially matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels for seven years before undergoing secondary maturation for two years in smaller American oak Quarter casks. This process enhances the interaction between the spirit and wood, resulting in a full-bodied expression that combines power and finesse. It is bottled at natural cask strength, without chill filtration or artificial coloring.
