The Arran Single Malt selected for this cask strength expression was initially matured in First-fill ex-Bourbon barrels before being transferred for secondary maturation into smaller American oak Quarter Casks for a further period, producing greater contact between the whisky and oak for a faster, more intense maturation.

Aromatic and intensely fruity with tropical fruit, coconut, vanilla, citrus zest, cinnamon, and a hint of cocoa. Salty ocean breeze, cooked oatmeal with sea salt and honey, canned pineapple and dried papaya.
Palate
Rich and full-bodied with tropical fruit, coconut, gourmet apple, vanilla sweetness, warming oak spice, honey, and peppery spice. Notes of cooked oats, honey, sea salt, canned pineapple, and a hint of coconut oil.
Finish
Long and warming with spiced vanilla, orchard fruit, lingering oak, and a touch of nutmeg. Aromatic spice, fruity and satisfying.
