Description

The Arran White Stag Second Release is a 20-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Arran Distillers. Distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2016, this limited edition release was matured in a single sherry butt (cask no. 1335) and bottled at 49.5% ABV. It was released exclusively for members of the White Stag Community, with an outturn of 523 bottles.

An intriguing mix of cherries, orange marmalade and honey cake, with lighter fruits and delicate floral jasmine notes. Savoury wood spice, citrus oranges, black cherries and figs are also present.
Palate
Creamy and complex with vanilla and sprinkles of sweet spice like cinnamon and nutmeg. Dark chocolate emerges with cherries and figs, giving a vibrant and luxurious mouthfeel. Water adds fresh fruit, with tropical notes of melon and banana.
Finish
A long, delightful, and rich finish. More fruity than sweet, with dark chocolate, cherries, and orange ever present and lingering.
