Nose
An initial burst of juicy fruit chewing gum and candied citrus peels. Further hints of lemon marmalade, marshmallow, waxed canvass and tinned peaches in syrup. Bountifully sweet and vibrant. Water brought a firmer edge of white pepper, canvass, pineapple cubes and sandalwood.
Palate
Unusually rich and textural for this triple distilled make. Lots of olive oil, aniseed liqueur, orange oils, bergamot, wintergreen and herbal travel sweets. Water made it even thicker in texture with a creamy vanilla custard note alongside dried lavender, citrus curds, orange bitters and eucalyptus oils.
