Nose
Delightful aroma. Powerful, peppery, mentholated and vanilla, with stewed fruits (plum, pear, apple) and honeys (acacia, lime blossom). Spices increase its character, becoming herbaceous (cut hay, alfalfa).
Palate
Full of rich, oaky spice and sweet vanilla notes. Lively and rich, with strong spices (nutmeg, clove, cinnamon). Medicinal on the mid-palate, developing creamy (coconut, yoghurt) and apricot notes.
Finish
Very long. Pastry-like (coffee éclair), heady (iris butter), powdery (cocoa) and nobly woody (beeswax, wood filler). New fruits (date, walnut, sweet chestnut) appear. Spicy retronasal olfaction (cardamom, star anise).
