- Racy and beautifully herbaceous (cut hay), the first nose is also floral (lavender) and malty (porridge). On aeration, dried apricots and juicy oranges highlight the quality of sherry cask aging. It becomes licorice and spicy (cinnamon).
- Palate
- Nuanced, the attack on the palate is wonderfully juicy and gourmet (rhubarb pie). The mid-palate is floral (iris), spicy (saffron) and powdery (cocoa).
- Finish
- Ethereal, the finish is marked by notes of bourbon vanilla and verbena. The aftertaste is empyreumatic (shoe polish) and mentholated. In retro-olfaction, malted barley makes a triumphant return.
