Balblair is owned by InverHouse Distillers and boasts one of the oldest histories of any distillery in Scotland. Nose
Aromas of dried fruits (figs, dates, raisins, apricot), beeswax, aged oak, orange zest, cinnamon, clove, and a hint of leather and tobacco.
Palate
Rich and full-bodied with caramel, honey, almonds, toasted oak, dark chocolate, licorice, and spicy overtones. Dried fruits and citrus notes are also present.
Finish
Long, warming, and smooth with lingering notes of old oak, gentle smokiness, vanilla, spice, and sweet Christmas cake.
