Nose
Zesty with orange peel, old bookshelves, wood resin, tropical fruit sweetness, honey, sultanas, apricot, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Delicate vanilla and green apple notes are also present.
Palate
Rich and creamy with ample malt, dried sultanas, a citrusy edge, old wood, chocolate-covered nuts, candied fruit, and exotic fruit. Initially rich and creamy with a hint of chocolate, then rich, heavy and yet delicate.
Finish
Fruity, zesty with a touch of cocoa powder and oak. Long, persistent, delicate, with mocha bitterness and oak spices, and a little spice arriving late.
