- Hot, raw, eau-de-vie-ish with blackcurrant buds, hot porridge, sour cherries, grape stalks. With water, rubber, paraffin, and fresh leaven bread. Also freshly made yeasty pizza dough, rich cherries and blackberries in liqueur, mushroom-driven earthiness, sherry vinegar, spearmint-like freshness, rich malt, oak notes, slight beefiness, tingle of alcohol, beetroot, mustard, and sharp acidic apple.
- Palate
- Raw kirsch spirit with pears, raw wine brandy, marc. With water, garden fruits, green plums, sour cherries, lemon skin, green pears. Also Granny smith apples, raisins, light cinnamon, pink peppercorns, tangy rhubarb, ethanol-forward with sweetness from oak, rich berry compote with toasted rice crispies.
- Finish
- Medium, grassier with stalks, stems, and pips. Decent length with a mixture of jaminess and wood.
