This is the 2nd release 2000 vintage from Balblair, bottled in 2018. It is natural colour and non-chill filtered. The whisky was matured for 13 years in ex-bourbon casks and then finished for a further five years in Spanish oak butts.

- Full bodied with aromas of seasoned oak, baked red apples and fruitcake, followed by warming vanilla and ripe tropical stone fruits. Rich and balanced.
- Palate
- Slightly oily in texture. Ground spices and old hardwood, building up to brighter flavours of tinned pineapples, bitter orange peel and honey.
- Finish
- Builds up slowly with lasting sweetness, creaminess and notes of bitter chocolate.
