The appeal here is the push and pull between cinder toffee, coffee and caramel, then peach, apple and punchy cayenne spice. That gives the sweet side some welcome lift rather than letting the notes sit in one lane. The long finish’s chocolate-covered cherries and caraway sound like a playful turn at the end. A rich, characterful set of notes with contrast.
