Description
Ballantine's 17 Year Old is a premium blended Scotch whisky, first crafted in the 1930s. It is a complex and well-balanced expression, combining malt and grain whiskies from various regions of Scotland, each aged for a minimum of 17 years in American and European oak casks. Owned by Pernod Ricard and produced by Chivas Brothers, this whisky is renowned for its rich, smooth, and harmonious character, often featuring honeyed sweetness, creamy vanilla, and subtle hints of oak and peat smoke. It has received numerous accolades, including Jim Murray's World Whisky of the Year in 2011.
