Description
Established in 1827 by George Ballantine, Ballantine's 21 Year Old is a premium blended Scotch whisky that sits in the middle of the core aged range of Ballantine's expressions, introduced in 1993. It is crafted from a blend of 50 single malts and four grain whiskies, primarily drawing its flavor profile from Speyside distilleries like Glenburgie and Miltonduff. A high proportion of the whiskies used are aged well beyond 21 years in European oak casks, contributing to its rich and intense flavor profile.
