Description

Started in 1827, when farmer's son George Ballantine set up a small grocery store in Edinburgh supplying a range of whiskies, Ballantine's has risen to be the second largest selling blended whisky in the world. The backbone of the blend comes from Miltonduff and Glenburgie distilleries which were purchased by Hiram Walker in 1936. This is part of the Ballantine's Signature Distillery Collection, highlighting the unique contribution of Miltonduff malt to the blend. 40% ABV / 20cl.

Sweet, smooth, and creamy with caramel, oak wood, vanilla, milk chocolate, cinnamon spice, cloves, liquorice root, black pepper corns, dried fruits, herbs, mint, and sometimes a delicate smoky note.
Finish
Long, warm, and sweet with lingering notes of oak wood, chocolate, caramel, fruit, and spice. Can be minty or menthol-like.
