In die Nase legt sich der Whisky mit torfigen Eindrücken. Dahinter liegen Räucherfleisch und Gewürze. Sauerkirschen, Orangen und Beeren dringen durch. Karamell und Nüsse runden das Aroma ab.
Palate
Der Ballechin Discovery Series #7 legt sich torfig auf die Zunge. Warmer Rauch weicht fleischigen Noten. Gebrannte Mandeln und Mandarinen sind präsent. Kräuter leiten den Abgang ein.
Finish
Der Abgang ist langanhaltend. Der Scotch verabschiedet sich rauchig. Er hinterlässt zudem rote Beeren und Zitronen. Honig und Kräuter halten nach dem Trinken lange an.
