Ballechin is the heavily peated single malt produced at Edradour Distillery, known for its smoky character with malt peated to a minimum of 50ppm. This particular release, part of the 'Straight From The Cask' series, is a 12-year-old single malt distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2022. It was matured in a single Oloroso sherry cask, Cask #348, and bottled at cask strength, yielding 957 bottles. The whisky is non-chill filtered and natural in colour.
