Description

The Balvenie 14 Year Old Caribbean Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky that undergoes a unique maturation process. It spends 14 years in traditional oak casks, primarily ex-bourbon barrels, before being finished for a period in casks that previously held Caribbean rum. This finishing process, pioneered by Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE, imparts rich, sweet, and creamy notes of toffee, vanilla, and tropical fruits to the whisky, creating a smooth and approachable dram.
