The Balvenie 12 Year Old DoubleWood Victo Ngai Limited Edition is a special release combining the iconic Balvenie DoubleWood 12 Year Old single malt with exclusive artwork by internationally acclaimed artist Victo Ngai. This edition celebrates creativity, storytelling, and craftsmanship, featuring Ngai's imaginative illustrations that depict the whisky's production cycle through the seasons. The whisky itself is matured in two distinct cask types: traditional American oak ex-bourbon casks and European oak sherry casks, a pioneering wood finishing technique developed by Malt Master David C. Stewart. This dual maturation process imparts a beautifully balanced profile of sweet vanilla, honeyed malt, rich fruit, spice, and oak.
