Spicy bourbon nose with prominent rye, cloves, butter, savory herbs like sage and tarragon. Also notes of vanilla cream, bright oak, summer fruits, citrus peel, light white peppercorn, caramel, stone fruit, apricot, mint, chocolate, and cinnamon.
Palate
Buttery and rye-forward with tip-of-tongue heat, baking spices, and a medium-bodied, coating mouthfeel. Flavors of apricot, honey, candied orange, sweet corn, oak, cinnamon, vanilla, peach, pie crust, and stone fruit.
Finish
Herbal compound butter, coating herbs, with a short to medium length. Lingering notes of leather, rye spice, dry oak, peppercorn mix, vanilla sweetness, and cinnamon spice.
