Barrell Bourbon Batch 026 is a meticulously crafted blend from Barrell Craft Spirits, based in Louisville, Kentucky. This cask strength bourbon combines straight bourbons aged 9, 10, 11, 13, and 15 years, sourced from undisclosed distilleries in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana. The blending process involved multiple steps, initially fusing 9-year-old high rye barrels with 10-year-old oak-forward barrels and 11-year-old sweet, toasty barrels. A second blend balanced citrus-forward 10, 12, and 15-year-old barrels with spicy, floral 9-year-old high rye barrels. These two blends were then co-mingled to create the final intriguing bourbon, bottled at 112.64 proof (56.32% ABV).

A sweet and peppery blend featuring aromas of rye spice, charred oak, and sweet banana.

Brash yet balanced, with dark and complex flavors of molasses, black cherry soda, root beer barrel candy, slate, salt, green apple, and a little horseradish. Rich flavors of caramel, sweet vanilla, syrup, raisin, brown sugar, and oak.
