Nose
Aroma is very pleasant. Rich and fruity with dates, rum-raisin, plums, dark spiced chocolate, bovril and a hint of chili. Spicy and quite weighty, with orange peel and fresh light green fruits.
Palate
Greater presence of peat/smokiness than the nose suggests, which quickly hits and then tapers off. Orange peel, cinnamon, palmiers, ginger, pepper, vanilla, icing sugar, subtle dry leaves. Creamy.
Finish
Long and warming. Palmiers, ginger, cinnamon, pepper, sweetness, pastry, more orange peel, some grain, little vanilla, autumn leaves, a fresh feeling.
