Nose
A sultana explosion, caramel, soft oak, tobacco, brown sugar, and a hint of peanuts. Thick swirls of raisin loaf, orange marmalade, polished oak, salted caramel, cocoa nibs, and a whisper of earthy smoke.
Palate
Viscous, almost syrupy, with malty notes, a symphony of sultanas, dates, candied apple, a touch of caramel, and nutty peanut flavour. Velvety floods of treacle pudding, fig jam, chewy malt, clove-laced chocolate, roasted hazelnut, and a bright twist of candied citrus.
Finish
Medium length with roasted almonds and cloves. Candied fruit adds a spicy twist, with a sudden flash of tropical freshness from mango and papaya. Long, warming, and gently dry—lingering sherry-soaked fruitcake, mellow oak spice, and a final flourish of nutty cacao.
